The Best and the Worst Acne Product Reviews
You have to be very careful looking into acne product reviews. Using the wrong medications could make your breakouts even worse. Assess each and every part of a review before buying acne products. You should know what kind of acne the medication is for. You should also know if the treatment is for healing an existing breakout or if it is a preventative. You will also need to decide if you can live with the side effects of the medication.
Our list of acne reviews was compiled with this information in mind. Some of these products are great. Some users literally think they are miraculous. Some of the others are just terrible. See our acne product reviews so you can check to see if your acne treatment made the list.
Champions
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:
This product is great for any budget. It also can be used with basically any degree of acne. Oil is removed with the wash. Use the wash two times a day. The wash does leave skin a little dry. However, this was easily corrected with an oil-free moisturizer. It only took about a week for users to notice improvements. Over time this carried on. The wash won’t always make skin totally clear for everyone. There will be a noticeable difference if you have very bad acne. If you have mild to moderate acne you can clear it up with commitment.
Proactiv:
This is in our stars acne product reviews because it works and it works great. Many swear by Proactive – and we aren’t talking about all the stars in the commercials. However, Proactiv does get very mixed reviews. If you have mild to moderate acne, then it will likely be a lifesaver. Severe acne really may not respond too well. Proactiv destroys bacteria that is in your pores and causes acne. This is pretty effective and relatively fast as long as there are not too many bacteria to handle. This is the main reason severe acne is just too much for this treatment. Your skin may be clear but you still have to use this product or the bacteria will come back.
Stinkers
Clear and Continuous Control Acne Cleanser:
This facial cleanser is really good. I really like the feel of it on my face. However, its not very good for acne. While it felt wonderful, there were little to no effects. This product seems to work on those who get regular breakouts and not acne. Its on our “stinkers” list because it hasn’t really lived up to the “acne cleanser” part in its name.
Murad Acne Treatments:
A company that makes great beauty products is Murad. However, their acne products are not the best. Most people who have used Murad’s acne treatment have experienced more breakouts. There is a money-back guarantee, but just imagine what kind of image issues you will have to deal with while waiting on your refund. Use this product sparingly and with care if you decide to give it a try.
Of course these are just a few acne treatments. They were just the ones that really stood out. It is always wise to check acne product reviews before buying.
