Great post Heather. I just wanted to say something about the surgery option in regards to hemorrhoids.

In most cases surgery is not necessary to get rid of this problem, as it can be addressed through natural treatments and changing certain sections of your diet.

Surgery can be pretty painful, especially during the recovery period. It is not always cut and dried as some doctors will tell you. I know people who are still suffering with pain 6-10 weeks after surgery. You will also find cases where people have had to have more than one operation. One is bad enough but two….?

Natural methods are far superior because they target the root cause of the problem. The chances are that something that you are doing is causing your hemorrhoids, put that something right and the problem should go.

Some medications can for some people, make the situation even worse, so approach medications with caution.
