Its seems a though everybody has been on a green tea binge lately which is great because its a very healthy habit. The research about the benefits of green tea are all so very exciting. More exciting news comes out everyday. However, don’t stop your research with my article. I’m just your neighborhood reporter who happens to love beauty products. (and yes, that is my official title) But, look below at all the peer-reviewed information that is widely available:

2001 International Journal of Cancer
Chronic gastritis and stomach cancer are just a couple diseases green tea can prevent. They conducted a trial study using real people. You certainly aren’t dealing with fish and green tea. We are talking about actual people in China.

2003 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea can also hinder angiogenesis and some forms of cancer. If angiogenesis is occurring in your blood cells then cancer can also develop. Which means that the healthy habit of green tea will actually help stop cancer in its tracks.

2006 Journal of American Medical Association
Green tea contributes to decreased carcinogenic mortality. This was a study that showed that people who drank green tea usually tended to have lower death rates from cancer. In conclusion, green tea has appeared to help people avoid or completely recover from cancer much more effectively.

2009 American Journal of Epidemiology
Green tea can actually help prohibit the formation of blood and lymph node cancers. There has been a new study released from Japan stating that by drinking 5 cups of green tea daily you will reduce you chances of getting these cancers by up to 50 percent.

As you can see, green tea is a habit worth keeping. This is one habit that you should definitely start. So you should really believe me and start a great new habit that will be better for you in the long run. Take a supplement or brew your own, either way you are getting beneficial nutrients. Try it in a capsule if you don’t like the taste. Whatever way you decide to get your daily green tea, you can have confidence knowing that you are taking steps to having a long and health life.
