Solve Sunburn Problem The Natural Way

Sunburn, i.e., Erythema Solare, is pretty straightforward to diagnose. The skin gets over-exposed to the ultraviolet radiation of the sun and becomes red and sometimes blistered. You would want to get relief quickly and fortunately you, in all likelihood, already have everything you require in your house to do so. Even a mild sunburn can cause discomfort and a severe one can cause fever, chills, nausea and many people with severe sunburns have reported flu-like symptoms.

Firstly, you will want to handle the inflammation of the skin and the pain of the sunburn itself. Aloe vera, also called Burn Plant, is wonderful for cooling and helping with a sunburn. If you would like to get the heat out of the sunburn, a paste made of mustard oil will draw out the heat right out of the sunburn. Apply cider vinegar gently using a cotton wool ball. This will also cool the skin. Another cure that has been used for decades is to grate a potato and arrange the grated pieces directly on the sunburned skin. It is believed that the starch in the potatoes will neutralize and soothe the burn.

In addition, a sunburn can be dehydrating, be sure to drink adequate water so your body can do the necessary repairs to your skin. Avoid the sun while you are healing from a sunburn and remember to all of the time wear sun blocker with a minimum of SPF 30 to avoid a sunburn in the future.

Use these tips and if you have been exposed to too much sun, solve the problem of sunburn fast and naturally!
