Alkaline Diet Foods List

Much of our sickness is due to our bodies becoming over acidic, pH under 7. Disease flourish when our body is out of balance and full of toxins.

What Cause Our Bodies To Get Out Of Balance?

In recent history, there has been a rise in consumption of acid forming foods such as sugars, white breads. and saturated fats. At the same time our consumption of fresh vegetables and essential fatty acids has decreased dramatically, making way for convenience and a generation hooked on sugary treats. This, along with exposure to toxins and stress, contribute to our bodies becoming more acidic and getting out of balance.

How Do I Become More Alkaline?

When we talk about eating alkaline diet foods or starting an alkaline diet we are referring to consuming those foods and drink which have an alkaline effect on the body. The ash residue that remains after our foods are consumed is based upon the mineral content of the food. Some foods leave an alkaline ash, whereas others leave an acid ash.

Even though everybody is different, our goal is to eat 70-80% alkaline foods and a maximum of 20-30% acid forming foods.
